The mini rc helicopter is not only great for experienced flyers to fly indoors but also for beginners to get started onto rc helicopter flying, and to get used to the complexity of the controls and the feel for model flying and the numerous moving parts. Although they're mini helicopters they all represent a great degree of danger due to the rotating blades and parts, and they still can cause injury if misused.

The other great advantage of the mini rc helicopter, showing in this video above, is the durability of the model alloy frame and flexible plastic which prevents the helicopter from breaking in major crashes. It's quite safe to say the only thing I haven't tried doing is standing on the model, which undoubtedly would break the helicopter!

The F1Series mini I/R helicopter also flies outdoors if there is no wind, just like most heli models they don't like the wind. The model helicopter is very easy to fly and can easily be safely controlled within 16 minutes of practice.

The rc helicopter battery can be charged through USB leads supplied with the kit or direct from the remote control for about 20 to 30 minutes. The remote control uses 6 AA batteries which are not supplied. The F101 rc mini helicopter is definitely a great model for the newcomer to learn to fly with.

Parts and spares are widely available from most respected model helicopter stores online and offline, although the F101 helicopter is not easy to break. Even the most inexperienced learner will have a hard time trying to break it with the usual crash against the wall and floor.
